get something to dig out whatever you crammed in the hole, or get new speakers. can you take the speaker apart?

A piece of debris caught in the jack would push the contacts together. In order to correct this you will need a small phillips head screwdriver to open the speaker and carefully remove the debris. The contacts won't take much to break off. You would have to very lightly push the one that was pushed into the other far enough to leave a large enough gap.
