issue with monitor

hey im having a bit of trouble with my monitor (fujitsu E17CL) it dosent go into any resolution higher than 1024X640 if i try it just flashes ard refreshes and when i try runing any direct 3d programs the same problem occurs.I tried another 2 screens and they work with no problem,ive installed what i think are the right drivers for the monitor(fujitsu seem to have the same drivers for all their 17" crts).if anyone knows how to fix this problem please help its quite irritating not being able to use my computer for what i bought it for.thanks
