Default blue screen stop error! i have the codes but have no clue

I received a blue screen stop error with these codes

Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 bad03ac4, parameter4 bad037c0

Luckily my computer was able to recover unlike last time when I had a little trouble. That was almost two months ago. This time I was able to get it to log into the event viewer hence why I have the codes. How can I know what the problem is?

One thing you could try here is the system file checker to see if any Windows drivers are corrupted. You can the system file checker by typing "sfc /scannow" at the Run prompt. This will often request the installation disk to start by verifying system files. Do you remember installing any new programs around that time? On occasion new software installations will cross link themselves to system files causing problems like this.

After running the system file checker go back and take a look at the event viewer again if you still see the same problem. That would be after a restart of the system. You can also use the msconfig utlity to reduce the number of items that load along with Windows. These methods will often isolate the actual cause.
