The 3800+ is getting a little outdated, dual core is a lot better now. If you can only spend $100 or so though, the 3800 is the best you'll get. You can get a X2 3800 or 4200 for...around $160-$170 I think.

as far as i know, the 7900GS is about as fast as one of my 7800GTX's.. ( not 100% sure tough ) and they run pretty nice, so im pretty convinced a 7900GS will do good too
![]() Edit: i dont think its getting 'outdated'.. besides,.. i didnt notice that much of an improvement when youd from a 2.7GHz 'Venice' to this 2.4GHz dual core (with twice the ammount of chache,.. per core.. so 4 times total) so i dont think it matters that much
