I am building a Media Center, and need some feedback on this tentative configuration feed back is welcome considering Price, heat and preformance are important.

Looks like a solid setup to me, lots of people have a similar one.

Awesome thanks for the speedy reply. Those prices are all from New Egg is there any better or alt place to check ? I tried ZipZoomFly.com but their prices seemed higher and stock much less.

Why the expensive DVD Burner? For that money, you could add an extra 250GB hard drive.

But $146 for an IDE burner? You can get a SATA burner for lots less than that. Unless you are dying for the slot loader...

Yea i since went with a much cheaper drive, that one was recomeneded in Maximum PC, this is the one i went with rather cheap- ASUS Silver 16X DVD-ROM 52X CD-R 32X CD-RW 52X CD-ROM 2M Cache E-IDE/ATAPI Combo Drive - $28.49


Case-Sky Hawk/Eagle Tech CA-EC1-S Silver Aluminum ATX Media Center Computer Case 450W Power Supply - Retail - $149.99
