Default Good image editing program?

I like to get a decent free image editing program . That would be able to correct and change many things in my photos , can someone help???

try Gimpshop, it's free and almost as powerful as Photoshop.

Photoshop is great, though I haven't tried GIMP.

Gimpshop is a modification of the regular GIMP I believe.
