Klipsch all the way. As soon as I heard the system in the store, I knew it was the one to get. Klipsch Promedia 5.1 will most likely blow away the Logitech.

I'll put a plug in for Creative's. Not so much that they have the best quality sound or anything, but they last and last and can take abuse. I've had my 4.1 setup since they were brand new on the market, have moved into 2 houses with them and dropped them plenty of times, snagged the cords etc. They still sound as good as ever. Other cheaper brands I've had could not take any abuse, or just sounded scratchy and muffled after a year or two of use.

That's nice if you have over $300 to spend on a high powered set like those seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...mx&ATT=product 470 watts total on those as well as the high price.

For the average desktop that is a wee bit overboard. Creative is another name like Koss to look at. But the favored here is still with Logitech for both good sound and being affordable for most.
