Default PC specs

Hi! I want to know about the specs of my PC are they fast? Here are they: Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 GHz 800 MHz FSB, Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 XT 128MB, 512MB RAM, SoundBlaster live 24-bit soundcard, and lots of other specs that I wouldn't even bother to mention them all!

no, it is not "fast". sounds like an average system ideal for browsing the internet, office and light gaming.

It's not that fast in todays standarts. The graphics card would be a pretty weak point in gaming.

nope, they're actually pretty bad. And now with the C2D, they are no where near the fastest, or fast, or even decent

Oit you, i run my main rig on a P4, they arent that bad if your not doing very much. Im rpicing up a new system as we speak becasue i cant be dealing with it anymore. And yeh, the graphics card is probably the shoddiest part there, (beats my one though) lol...

By todays standards thats not a great system at all, and whoever told you P4's were the fastest CPU needs a kick in the teeth. They've been over taken by 2 generations of CPU's noe, the Pentium D's and now the Core2Duo range.

If you are searching for a saleable price on that i wouldnt pay anything above £200 for it (thats like $370 USD)

okay, I agree with you ESTA, it seems you have the Core 2 Duo inside your computer and you probably love it very much. I just heard from a magazine article that Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs are superfast at everything but my PC now has an AGP motherboard so I should settle for a PCI Express-based one if I really want to upgrade my PC

Or just build his own and get one for cheaper than a hp and get better performance.
