Are you talking about a desktop?
If you plan to game, then I would say 17" should be the minimum. A 15" monitor is just too small. MCE is alot better then Home, and if you plan to use dual-processors and such in the future, you need either Pro or MCE.

Well it is in the LAPTOP section
As mentioned, it's all up to you, really. Personally, I wouldn't get wide screen or MCE. MCE is basically Windows XP Home with lots of extra crap running(IE slower) I've never really sat down and compared the differences, but I'd much rather have Pro or even Home. You won't gain any compatability with videos or anything like that, if that's what you're thinking. Wide screen...again, no real use for it unless you plan to do nothing more than watch DVDs or play games that support wide screen(which I wouldn't suggest on a laptop )

Oh i'm sorry, I should have looked at the section, lol.
If it's for laptops then I would say that 15.4" is plenty big enough, it's actually the size I prefer. and bobo, the screen size was my opinion, but not the OS.

Remember, alot of the better graphics chipsets are available with the 17" monitor vs the 15.4 which has less support. Seems they never want to give you much more then an X1600 or 7300.
Also, as said I'd go Pro over MCE or Home.

Thats not a limitation of the screen itself, it's usually just so comsumers have a reason to go with the more expensive 17" model. Take Dell for instance, the highest you can get in their 15.4" inspiron is the x1400, where as the 17" you can get a 7900GS.
