Hi guys,
I'm new here and I'd like to first say hello to everybody. Please give me your opinions on this choice - pentium D 915 2.8 ghz or Pentium 541 3.2 ghz and please explain why you would choose one over the other. Thank you very much. |

I would go with the Pentium D 915, simple because its a dual-core so overall performance will be greater, especially in mutli-threaded games/apps.

Well if you don't like helping people or want to complain about it than don't post, it's simple.

To answer the original questio which i forgot to do, was i would chose any pent d over any p4, as two are better than one. A little food for thought, i found the pent d 915 for 135, im not sure if ur planning to build or comparing two systems or w/e, would u be able to stretch ur budget, cuz the c2d e6300 is 180, not too much more than that pent d but it would blow it away performance wise. |

I'd favour the PD 915 as well. The second core will be more helpful in most cases.
