Yes, the Logitech X-530 5.1 is a great surround setup for its price point. I got mine from Buy.com for 56.00 (no tax and free ship). Lots of reviews out there for this speaker system. I am using mine with all my electronic components. I have the audio outs from my sound card, dvd/vcr combo, and high def receiver going to my high def tv/monitor and using the adapter that came with the speakers, I have them plugged into the headphone jack on my tv/monitor. Works great.

Its 5.1 the .1 means an LFE (Low Frequency Effects) channel which as a rule-of-thumb means a subwoofer.

I was going to say and system with a sub is going to have decent bass sounds. Well compared to those that don't anyways. This is what I have. But I normally use headphones, although they sounds good for what I paid.

The X-530's would probably be some of the best. Or you can go with the 230's (I think thats the name), that only have two speakers and a sub.
