Have DELL Inspiron 1000? Help me?

Do you have a DELL Inspiron 1000 laptop? Is it working? Good for you.

Would you be kind enough to dump a BIN image of your working BIOS for me? My laptop is broke and can only be repaired if I obtain the BIOS image. My reflasher cannot use the Bios .EXE updates provided by DELL support, which is why I am asking for your help.

, please send me your BIN image. You may do this by downloading the following BIN dumping utility:

The standard software (latest rev 1.40) that you can use to read and backup the BIOS chip in DOS you can find at

Com'on people, the Inspiron 1000 at 2.0GHz isn't that dated as yet... :-D

that doesn't mean that everyone here has one... i have a 1150 if that BIOS would work (doubt it)...
