Did you download the zip file for Windows users? If you look at the OS required most say Linux, Solaris, or OS X. The links below that are for older versions of Windows apparently. The advice here would be to remove the screen saver or savers that you were trying out. You probably grabbed a Linux screen saver there. The zip for all Windows version savers is found at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/r...1.zip?download

It's better to simply get rid of it sorry to say. I've tried a long list of this stuff and often saw them do more harm then good or were simply a shareware version of something to buy. The only thing screensavers are good for at this late date is decoration only. They don't serve any other purpose.

At one time they were used on old ega monitors to prevent text burnin problems those many years ago. You're better off using a standby mode instead of some of those were they don't work like they claim.

It won't be any loss dumping those then. A good benchmark utility would provide you would some better results then some fly by night gimmic. One of those is called Sandra Lite for overall benchmarking. http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/index.ht...buy&langx=en&a=
