power supply help

1.)On my old gateway, blew the power supply just buy putting power cord into powersupply (spark) and blew it.. I need a new powersupply. Will powersupplies that say pentium4/amd athlon, work only pentium 3 processor? http://www.turboled.com/productdetai...x?productID=71
will that one work with my penitum 3 processor gateway?

2.) Are all powersupply boxes the same dimensions? Because you need to screw it "onto" the case so it will hold it. If not that means i need to buy "only" the same power supply that I have?

1. yes it will work with your pentium 3 processor

2. no not all power supplies are the same dimentions, but anything in the pentium II and up generation basically still uses the same screw placement
