I currently use a 6600gt in my desktop... look at my specs
I am considering a new laptop that uses a 7600 go geforce whatever... In my new laptop, I am looking for better GPU performance, but where does the 7600 Go stand desktop-wise? is it even better than 6600gt? thx

Hard to say, since the 6600GT does perform better in a few areas. You can compare them here: http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards....=187&card2=409
