Question BF-2142 Joystick?

Hi,

Yes, i am new to games and want to get a decent accessory to play them. I am guessing I need to buy a joystick for 2142. What are people using? What is good on newegg?

Thx in advance,

The average gamer is using just the mouse and keyboard. Some use a mouse and keyboard and switch to a joystick for flying. I'd recommend just sticking with the mouse and keyboard in the beginning to simplify things.

For playing other games like adventure, racing etc. I recommend the Logitech Rumblepad 2 http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...CONTENTID=9069 It works very well with many games and is very programmable.

Blue is right,.. you can easely fly the planes in BF2142 using the keyboard.
im using a Saitek X-45 atm, and cant complain about it so far tough (but its quite expensive for a joystick imo ( but i've worn out 3 joysticks before that,.. so i gues its ok)

altough.. i think buying it for only BF2142 would be heavilly overkill
