Default nikon digital memory card

i have a nikon digital camera 'coolpix s1'

i have a 2gb memory card for it....i upload my photos and it says you want to delete off card i say yes, and photos that have been on there in the past are on whihc werent how do i clear it all up to an empty card cause i got videos and pics to take saturday
