Exclamation what is this!!??!?! whats it got

ok my apartment building has been open fer a year a little over a year, and i recived this old HP computer i opened it and it looks awesome(but thats me)
the guy has upgraded it i have pics of inside if you needed ill post the back but it doesnt work i found something that looked like the power supply cord (out of a thousand other wires i found wiht it) so..iam gonna test around please tell me what its insde and should i put it in my current comp
also wheres the cpu i can fin it and how much ram does it have??

reckon thats AMD K7 duron or something....socket A, CPU is underneath the heatsink, the big silver block with a coolermaster fan on top

That heatsync is identical to the OEM Athlon heatsyncs I had in the past. Also considering the chipset says "TBird" I feel pretty safe saying it's some SocketA Athlon or Duron. If that's the case, the RAM is probably PC133. I could say for sure if one was removed.

is it good that the psu fan ISNT moving? it smells of hot plastic..when i walk by lol i have another psu from my old comp when i upgraded...but iam going to open it later and check it out

Put the other PSU in.

Its not good that the PSU fan isn't spinning and yeah that thing could fry anything any second if it pops :\

the old psu has 20pins my old one has 24 ondetachable is there a way i can fix the fan
