Hey this is Jonboy (created a new accout (bloke with anoying .gif avatar) cos I forgot the last ones login details)

Any way I have some serious problems my computer is basically not in a good way. I went to turn it on 20 min aggo, and it wanted to begin a pre boot up disk defrag, which is fair enough BUT it can't/wont and just sits there doing nothing. It says press any key to abort, but that is unresponsive. Only thing I can do is hold down the power supply button untill it shuts down.

So I start it again 3 times and same thing happens every time.

1. Get the option to start windows in safe mode
2. I press normal
3. Loading Windows Screen
4. Before login screen, I get IOLO Disk Defrag

So I gave up on that route and tried safe mode, it loads some stuff then again it freezes and stops and becomes un responsive. Please anyone hand me a lifeline, what the hell can I do?

My totaly uneducated guess would say the programme is told to start from bios, as it starts before windows is fully started, so is there anyway I can stop that from loading when I start up.

I would be very very very happy if you could help.
