Default msn 6.2 and msconfig

Hi,

I DON'T want that my MSN starts when my windows XP starts.

So I did the obvious: runned "msconfig", and in the options at "initialize" I unchecked the box beside MSN.

The problem is that many times that I start my computer, the MSN starts as if I've never made the steps above.

What is happenning and how can I solve it?

thanks!!

if what pcl0adletterwtf told u doesnt work just do what im doing and its working like a charm
go to: C:\Program Files\Messenger and change the suffix of the messanfer exe to tmp (i.e messanger.exe -> messanger.exe.tmp) so when win will look for messanger.exe he wont find it and problem solved

cheers
