Question Problems Durrin Reformat ~ Driver.Cab Copy Error?

I reformat my computer about one a month to keep it running clean.. its has worked all good for a long time (was very impresed with the normal reformat & reinstall time compared to SATAII times!) but now when its copying files it says it failed to copy "driver.cab" and i cant get to ever copy it. I though it was a error on my cd so i reburned it but same thing.. it also says the same thing to a few more things but i press enter and it re tried and works on all the others.. I end up having to skip this driver.cab file.. then when its done it all seemed to work well for a few mins then the when i install video drivers it crashes and wont ever start back up.. any advise or sugestions or knowlege on the drive.cab (believe thats what its called) error?>..

Thanks all

One thing you can try is booting upto the recovery console and check to see if the C:\Windows\Driver Cache\i386\driver.cab folder is found on the drive already. If it is found there rename it and expand a fresh copy from the I386 folder on the installation disk to that folder. Upon restarting the system make sure to delete the renamed one before any attempt to install any drivers.
