i recently bought Need For Speed: Most Wanted, for some odd reason the game runs a bit shakey, i have all the graphics boosted to max, BUT even tho everything is maxed out i should still be able to to run the game! while im playin it does not play smoothley, it plays, but u can tell theres a slight chop to it...

I also have this problem.

TBH I think our cards make it slightly lag

Also, depending on how many apps you have running whilst your playing I think a ram upgrade could do you a bit of good, but don't expect the problem to totally vanish.

Try turning AA/AS off and see if it still happens

Need For Speed: Most Wanted doesn't need a lot of ram, 1GB is enough.

Try to update the game, and or turn AA off.
Also, update your video card driver from nvidia website

Yes, and NFS MW just has a bad engine. It skips on my current computer, and my previous two(Athlon 64 3700 with a 6200 TC and Athlon 64 4000 with a 7800GT) Read up on it, there's a fairly common problem with the game.

Well, to be technical, it's actually Anti-Aliasing...

As DCIScouts said it is Anti-Aliasing and it in laymen terms removes the jaggies found on edges in a game.

Yeah... im running it on the PC in my sig and have found that after playing it for and hour or so, things just suddenly go pixelated. The powerlines that hang across the street look like lines drawn in MS Paint instead of a smooth rendered cable.
If i quit the game then re open it a few minutes later its all back to normall.

Of course not no. The game is great and many have enjoyed it for many hours.

As for all the trouble I hear I am surprised. I've played for hours with no hick-ups at all.
