Default Is Vmware Screwed

Last night my computer kept bugging me to install hardware for Vmware and I didn't know where the drivers were. So I decided I was going to do a reinstall of vmware at the time I was running a bunch of CPU intensive task which caused my computer to freeze and the mouse didn't move. So I reseted in the middle of a uninstall. When I booted back up to try a uninstall it wasn't in the add/remove programs list. So I tried to install anyways of course it said I already had a versioin of Vmware install. After that I tried to delete the folder in the add remove programs folder and the registry values. What else could I do to fix this. Please I need VMware.

you can get uninstall programs which scans your PC for remenance of old programs and completely destroys it, there are quite a few of them, see if you can get a free trial, google them, theres lots

Microsoft virtual server is free, but I don't like the web interface. Not to mention Vmware is faster and you can run almost any linux distro on it. Try that with Microsoft

I found it out all I had to do was go to the command prompt and type something like this cd C:/documents and settings/2 wyte/my documents/

After that I typed the name of the setup exe with a forward slash c in front of it. Ex: VMWARE.EXE/c this is just for refrence in case this happens to somebody needs it.
