alright. my brother has a compaq presario 6415CL and he needs more memory bad. its freezing and running really slow. i know quite a bit about computers but im not sure what to get him for fast memory. he wants to get 512mb more because thats all his slots can support and he has 256 in his other. his price limmit is 70$ and we need the fastest and more reliable memory for that price. but he needs a pretty fast chip. also what are some of the reasons it freezes up? he only has internet explorer and msn up and i freezes and almost every night if freezes and all that will be up is msn. its really weird. but memory..i dont understand a whole lot. here is a link with what kind it needs.

but i went to kingstons website and it said "This system supports both DDR266 (KTC-PR266/xx) and DDR333 (KTC-D320/xx) memory. Regardless of what is installed, the memory will only run at DDR266 (PC2100)"
