Default Video Card 101 Clarification

I already submitted a post regarding an eVGA e-GeForce 7600 GTS 256MB video card and whether or not it had the DirectX9 feature, and the response I got was yes. However when going back through the video card 101 thread of the forum I came across something that didn't quite make sense.

One part of the thread, under the FAQ regarding how does one know which version of DirectX is on a videocard, it reads:

Quote:
DirectX9.0c
'GeForce 6x00' cards
'GeForce 7x00' cards
Which supports the response I got in my previous post.

However, in the nVidia section, the thread reads:

Quote:
DirectX9.0c class GeForce cards - GeForce6 lineup. To address the DirectX9 issues the GeForceFX lineup had, the GeForce6 lineup offered a generational leap in performance and was the first to support DirectX9.0c, a marketing point that it's competition, the X800 lineup, could not make.
NV40 - GeForce6800 [Ultra Extreme]
NV40/NV41/NV42 - GeForce6800 [Plain]
NV40/NV45 - GeForce6800 [GT, Ultra]
NV41/NV42 - GeForce6800 [XT, LE]
NV44 - GeForce6200 [Plain, Turbocache]
NV44 - GeForce6600 [Plain, GT, XT, LE]
NV45 - GeForce6800 [GTO]
DirectX9.0c class GeForce cards - GeForce7 lineup. Yet another massive leap in performance, the GeForce7 lineup has had a 6 month marketshare advantage on ATi's competition, the X1000 series
G70 - GeForce 7800 [GS, GT, GTX]
The 7600 or any other 7000 series is not listed.

The reason I bring this up again is because the features section at the eVGA website for the 7600 video card doesn't list DirectX9 as a feature, and yet it does list it on other cards. It seems like an important feature to forget to list if it actually is on the video card, especially in terms of a sales pitch.

Is it simply something they forgot to list on certain cards, or is it not included on the 7600 card, among others?

I would've just sent the question to the support section of the website, however, one has to actually own a eVGa card in order to get customer support.

Any help with this would be appreciated,

Thanks,

They forgot the 7600 series i think.. well, to put it a other way,.. the list is NOT up to date all Geforce 7xxx cards are DirectX9.0c cards.
the 7800's were the first geforce 7's.. the 7300xx, 7600xx, 7900xx and 7950xx came later,.. thats why they are not on the list (yet) i gues
