Default New AGP King! X1950 Pro AGP to be released

http://xbitlabs.com/news/video/displ...023104107.html

I was supprised to hear this, as I thought that Ati wouldn't care to make a new AGP card.

Sweet! Maybe now I can just use my AGP slot instead of needing to upgrade to PCI-E.

i'm think agp can't break the 16 piplines limit or something because they dont have 24 pipes agp cards lol or is that over the bandwidth that agp allows.

The PCI-E versions of the x1900XT/X also have 16 pipelines you know...

I would give a while. Seeing people might want to buy it if they have an x2 4800 on an old board that has agp and still want to be near top of the line. So they would get the top of line agp card without having to upgrade their whole computer.

Most likely the x1950PRO PCI-E...

Unless you mean compared to another AGP card, then right now theres nothing, unless nVidia releases a new AGP card.
