Again... not proof. That's just a series of facts (i dont know if they are facts, ill give you that benifit) and a plasible inference.
That bottom line is society is both
too large and
too fluid to be able to draw absolute conclusions like "gun laws [significantly] reduce crime" -- in ITspeak, it would be akin to saying "copy protection [significantly] reduces piracy" -- which, i can tell you right now, is a load of crap.
