Quiet Sound

I've got Quiet sound on a brand new Everex Laptop.
THe card is a Realtek AC93. There is only one speaker, but I'd still expect the laptop to make noise beyond the whisper it's currently making. Sound is on at full blast in the master control panel. Also it's 100% in WMP.

So Wave and Master are full? If so, try some headphones or external speakers. If it's still too quiet, there might be a problem wtih your speaker/amp...

The other thing to look at is the Windows volume control found in accessories\enterainment to see if that is turned down. If there's a sound mixer make check to see if the master and other levels are broght up far enough.
