assuming you mean price, the ranges are cheapo to quality:
ddr 256 $25-$60
ddr2 256 $30
ddr 512 $45-$100
ddr2 512 $50-$80

sdram 256 $25-$70
sdram 512 $50-$100

SDRAM is an older type of RAM. I think you're confusing DDR with DDR SDRAM, which is actually the same thing.

SDRAM is actually SDR SDRAM. But nobody ever says that.

For price, to repeat what the rest of them have said, it depends on what type.
