Default office

Firstly, why is it 200-300 pounds?

At the moment i am using a similiar word programme to the one in office but i need microsoft word for college so i can save work on USB and bring it hhome because it is not compatible. Does this mean i will have to pay that price for office just to get microsoft word.

first it's made buy microsoft so that's why it costs so much.

second you should be able to get the student\teacher edtion for about 75 pounds I think if i am coverting right it's about $130 us

and you can get open office for free whitch is freeware and it's really good and can open MS office files

yeah it shold be able to open: Excel, Power Point, Word, Publisher, and more that I can't remember
