norton antivirus 2004 - adware
adware shows up after scanning the folder 'program files'
CMEsys.exe ...adware EGGCEngine.dll ...adware egIEEngine.dll ...adware eGIEProcess.dll ...adware EGNSEngine.dll ...adware erpcjlpr.exe ...security risk GatorRes.dll ...adware GatorStubSetup.exe ...adware GMT.exe ...adware gtrawbm.fil ...security risk GUinstaller.exe ...adware nppeijpfet.exe ...security risk i dont know any of them. except GATOR (heard its a bad thing). please tell me which of them is deletable and which is required if you want. please give me some info on them |

My recommendation is to Google all the components. I just did a google on the first and here is the result. It is related to gator.

download ad-aware at www.lavasoft.com scan your disk with it and it will delete them or put them in quarantine
