Default Playin XP games with Vista

I was able to play windows 98 games with XP, will I be able to play XP games when I get Vista?

The article is a bit old (testing Beta 2) and Vista will most likely be fixed and ready for all games by its release.

Most all XP compatible games will be compatible with Vista, however, they will run slower because Vista is a resource hog

How abt softwares for Vista? We can't install any softwares on Vista,right?

Some software works, some doesn't.

Well AV and firewall programs won't work, but there are alot of games and apps that do work.

Norton does not work until 2k7 and above on vista they are not shy to admit it they did not write any exceptions in the code so its only for xp and below but most programs will offer newer versions to fit the new os

It's funny, to play Age of Empires I expansion, there is a glitch on XP Pro, but on Vista, it runs perfectly fine
