Arrow Microsoft Lifecam + Media Center Edition

The drivers for my Microsft Lifecam VX3000 will not work with Media Center Edition. The CD installation gets to about 90%, then stops. I downloaded the drivers/software off softpedia, the same thing happened. The installation CD worked fine with my WinXP Pro. On some amazon.com reviews, others were having similar problems.
The drivers install fine when I plug the USB in and windows searches automatically, but the software is not installed (i can use the webcam via windows explorer).
Is there any way to fix this or will I just have to live with it?

I believe that is a fairly new released camera, and new drivers should be released from MS soon... As for the additional software, does the box list MCE as a valid OS? If it does, see if you can install the software without the drivers (some devices allow you to do it...). You can also try to contact MS and see if they have a new disc that they can send, but they'll probably make you pay for it...

It's probably something that MS didn't account for... Ironic since it's their own product... Anyway, you could return it and get an equivalent Logitech, should be just as good as the MS, if not better!
