laptop toshiba tecra 8000 speed processor?
hi everyone!!
im having trouble decidine which speed processor is right for my laptop i have a toshiba tecra 8000; with pentium 2, 128mb of ram and 299 mhz procoser. i like to upgrade my mhz processor only. can someone please tell me which speed processor is right for this old laptop . please!!!. thank you

You said it, sounds like a 300MHz PII. And what do you mean by upgrade? if you want to upgrade, then you need a new computer badly, no question.

he wants 2 put a faster cpu in it, and he dont know what kind...

speed processor
im sorry if you misunderstood me.
i meant to say that, is there a speed processor that i can install on this toshiba tecra 8000. if there isn't. can someone please tell me how can i install windows 2000 pro on this laptop thank. your help is much appreciated.!! |

No, there is no processor you can install (safely and knowledgeably) to increase the speed. The best and easiest thing you can do is buy a new laptop for ~500$ and it will be faster than anything you've ever seen (judging by your current laptop).
