I recently purchased an external hard drive and copied several of my dvd's onto it, it then proceeded to stop registering on my mac. I have tried it on several different mac and pc machines, and it doesn't even appear in the disk utility.
Although it is still under warranty I am apprehensive to take to PC world ( ) to be fixed incase they fix it and see all the *ahem* copyed data saved on it! I'm not bothered about trying to restore any of the data and I would consider wiping all the data somehow and then returning it to PC world to get a new one.Any suggestions would be massively helpful, It's killing me not having the extra byte-space! many thanks |
