Default fried motherboard

Hi,
the mobo in my emachine has capitulated and i have moved the hard drive into a second pc. all seems to be ok except that i'm denied access to 'my documents' folder. has anyone encountered this problem or know the solution?

you probably made the folder private, which may encrypt it. If you are logged in as Admin (which you should be) you can right click your folder and go to sharing and make sure it has full read/write privlidges.

If its encrypted then thats a whole other story all together
