There are not many prebuilt computers that will come with an open PCI-E slot. They want you to buy more parts from them, not just add a video card on your own.

i saw that too, but figured the geforce 7500 could be removed to put something else in it's place. unless the 7500 is onboard, but it didn't say that but it does call it a video CARD so...i'd check to be sure first.

No, I'm sure that the 7500 is strictly onboard.

i don't know if it's onboard or not, but hp says it has a pci-e slot.

Hmm dont' know. I got a emachine a while ago, really really cheap one, and the motherboard specs has an agp slot on it, however, there was no agp slot, the place where the slot is suppose to be is just blank.
