Don't forget that the E6400 is supposed to be the best overclocker.

Maybe. They each have their strengths and weaknesses:

E6300: Low multiplier and only 2MB cache, but really low priced.
E6400: Only 2MB cache, but slightly higher multiplier. Reasonably priced
E6600: Slightly expensive, but a high multiplier and 4MB cache.
