Default HALO problems

i need help!! i just installed the trial version of HALO and when i run the game and get to the menu the colors are messed up and everything. the menu is all white so you cannot tell where to click. after clicking around i started the game. the games runs very smootly but i cannot see anything because the colors and the graphics are messed up. WHAT CAN I DO?

specs: p4 mobile 1,80ghz, 1 gig ram, ati radeon mobility 7500 32mb,
i checked the microsoft site and it says that my video card is compatible andn that it never had any issues while tested. i cannot change anything since its a laptop!! ANY SUGGESTIONS?!

Update your video card drivers. Or it could be the video card itself...although it should be able to handle Halo..

Both are good suggestions. I'd check the gamma and brightness first. Update your drivers if changes to those settings don't work.

Do you play other games on your laptop? if so and they look fine then your gamma and brightness should be fine as well.

Make sure that you have also patched the game to the most current version...
