Poll: Who's getting a PS3/Wii next week?

With the new Playstation3 and Ninrendo Wii due out within the next 2 weeks or so I was wondering if anyone has pre-ordered, are standing in line, or are sleeping during the launches of these consoles. When you vote, could you explain why you voted the way you did please? You don't have too but it would be nice to see the reactions everyone has. Thanks guys!

P.S. This poll is for launch day only. If you are getting neither on launch day, but are still getting one in the future, tell us when and why.

I'm not going to get either on the release date. I'm going to get an Xbox 360 this christmas, and I may get a Wii next year.

Getting a Wii eventually, but definetly not launch date. Never getting a PS3.

Reason...I am not made of money. I have more important things to buy, bills to pay, etc. When the price drops a tad and I have some extra money, I'll pick up a Wii and a few games.

Maybe a PS3 eventually when it comes down to $200 or less, which will be in like 5 years... (just to make sure it catches on, and I don't want to spend that much on it...) I'll probably get a Wii sometime next year though, looks awesome, and after Christmas, I'll need a bit of time to replenish the funds

... (at least to a point where I can make the purchase of a new console worthwhile...)

Thanks for the replies and voting! I'm the in the same boat as everyone else. I'm not getting a PS3 until it drops in price ALOT and I might get a Wii when I can but we'll see. Thanks again!

Well was really set on a ps3 when they were first announced, but then the price was released and well... Probably will get a wii sometime relatively soon, but seen more stuff on the ps3 and I just don't if I will be able to resist for very long, hopefully long enough for a price drop. So in the long run probably both.

guna get it around march since sony is releasing around 6 million units..only way of getting it now is to camp out..n i think the point of getting it now is more to resell on ebay..unless ur a hardcore gamer

I am getting a Wii.. buying the ps3 just shows sony people will buy thier shit no matter how much they price it.
