Exclamation Can Someone please help me? I am ready to upgrade my computer, but....

Im having doubts....

First of all, ilooked at my computer manual today and i looked at the saftey section and it says:

'Opening the unit for whatever reason could lead to damages that are not covered by the gaurentee.'
'To aviod electrical shock, do not open the cabinate. Refer servicing to qualified personal only.'

I dont know if my computer is different to any others.... but why does it say that with my computer, but then there are other people who can upgrad there computer with no problem?

If thats on the manual then its kinda useless warning ... if its on the power supply/monitor than you're prolly best heeding it because it prolly will kill you.

1. What's a manual?
2. OEM manual's will say anything to keep you out of your computer
3. Depending on what its referring to specifically uyou should heed it but if its just a general comment then obviously they put it there for warranty sake

Then you should be good to go ... (as long as you realize that you are prolly voiding warranty) ... go for it!
