Default Basic Parts

I have a second computer which my parents use, its a very old system which they basically use for internet, email and word processing. After being told the MoBo has had it, i found a few parts that i would like some advice on. Whethere these are compatable, wherther i need any extra parts etc. m not very good at reading technical specs so dont really understand them well

Mobo

Does this have onboard graphics or do i need a card to go with it as well. Does it have an ethernet connection? is it good value for money?

Processor

is this good value for money? isit compatable with the MoBo? good value for money?
like i said they use it for very basic needs, so i just wana know if these are good enough for this.
Thanks.

Yes it has onboard video and a NIC. Price looks ok, but I'm not totally sure about £. Also, it's only Socket 754...

CPU should work with the mobo. I'd go with a newer socket, but it'll work.

what makes it so much better? just because it is a newer socket? why is a newer socket better? or is there other factors which make it better? also, i would be greatful if someone could find a heatsink and fan that would fit with this, im not too sure about there, or are these pretty generic, as i have a couple but am not sure if they will fit.
