If I looked correctly, this camera has 7.1 mega-pixels. It will print bigger sizes then 8x10 but if it is that price, it is well worth it.

There is only 2 things I would add on which is a bigger memory card because when you first buy a digital camera, they usually come with a 16mb memory card. I would get at least a 128mb like this you can take more pictures.

Another thing is to get rechargeable batteries because sometimes digital cameras kill normal batteries very fast.

Hope this helps

Specs look ok...but I doubt the pictures would be wonderful. Pentax has never been a very high-end camera. I'd say find some sample photos and compare with some similarly priced cameras.

They used to be great, i have an old '75 Asahi Spotmatic with an 800mm telephoto that rules the 35mm roost, but i dont know about their digitals.

I found the camera elsewhere for $160, so it's not like $170's an amazing deal for the camera. However, I can't find a single review or set of sample photos. I wouldn't get it without being able to test it, or finding some unbiased pictures from it.
