new router
i was hooked up to a modem through usb it was fast
now i got a better router 2wire and hooked threw ethernet its bit slower whats wrong? the router has only etthernet plugs speedtest 472 kbps-download 23 kbps-upload now before this it was DL in 1000's and UL in 400's were guarenteed fastest sbc package

I would think that the firewall in the router may be limiting the bandwith that you are getting now... That would be my first instinct.

Depends on the router, my old D-Link I couldn't find any access to that, but my new US Robotics I can...
