Default tv recording

i havve comcast but in my room my comcast box is diffrent from the main box
like when i record something it says VCR recording...started i dont have a vcr, where is it once its recorded?
i just need help recording this 24hour spongebob marathon lol

can i hook it to an xbox? or something






something like that? what exactly do i need?

You need something to record it on, whether it be a harddrive, video tape, or DVD.

hdd wouldbe a tv tuner card =/ wouuld cd-r disks work?

Yes, but that goes from you hard drive, which would require a TV tuner card.

The other option would be a DVR.
