Well.. like said, i still think its a software issue.. the 92.91 drivers i linked you were beta drivers,.. they work for me, but that ofcourse doesnt nececairely mean they work the same for you ofcourse (especially since i run win xp x64, and you the 32-bit version for example )
try http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.47.html ( 91.47 ) this was an actual released driver.

well... software unstabilities.. well, it can run for weeks and then suddenly crash, or it runs only for a second and then crashes.. its pretty luck dependant i gues. ( maybe run Memtest86 tough,.. just to be sure its no corrupted RAM, since that can also mess up programs http://www.memtest86.com/ download the Iso, and burn it onto a CD,.. then put the CD into the drive and reboot.. it will test the RAM before windows starts. and if the RAM is good, it shouldnt find any error,. the program has no end, so you have to end it yourself (esc or so iirc).. just make sure it ran for like 20 minutes or so )

I must have missed something... what are the blank cd's for? I still recommend a new PSU (even if it is not the issue).

You might have mentioned in the other thread but what are your specs? PSU brand also please.

my power supply is a JSP bluefire 500w

blank cd's are for the memory test program

I put a fan in front of my gpu and now temps are not only stable at idle and unerload but super cooool, so its definately not temps

if it was the power supply (which I severely doubt) wouldnt the whole pc be freezing rather than just the graphical application?

I really think its a software/driver problem of some sort because the game/graphical application always stops a minute or 2 into gameplay regardless of load, temperature, etc... always. Got me completely stumped! completely stumped...

at least my wankel engine still purrs like it should mmmm mazda rotary

I have never used that program but it sounds awfully strange. I"m sure there must be some that wont require blanks cd's

Perhaps yes... Although it would might take a 3d game to put the system under enough load to freeze or crash your pc. I'd imaging you would not be able to recover back to your desktop as well as you do though. Point is I am a firm believer with using the proper equipment. This is why I still suggest a new PSU.

I know you said the PC came new etc... I'd re-format anyway. Perhaps you can shut down all unnecessary processes if you have not. remove all unnecessary software if you have not. If you have folding @ home installed, disable it.

Edit:

You still did not answer my question to it's fullest... what are your system specs? Also if this PC is brand new then perhaps you should be calling customer service.

Also I'm making a judgment call and moving this thread. It seems that your problem lies with all games and not one specifically. It is more of an issue with PC running poorly (not necessarily just games specifically) It is my hope that you find an answer to your issue a bit faster in this section of Computer Forum.

Please do answer my question on your specifications, this information can help people when lending you advice. If you did and I'm missing it somehow then I'm sorry.

Edit again:

I took a trip one page back and see you mentioned your specs already.. My apologies I jump around allot (thread to thread) and sometimes it can be a pain to read back .

yeh i've tried running on basics etc.. theres no extra software hangin' off the side of windows dragging it down... I built this pc and did the installation myself so I know what is and isnt on it kind of thing, theres nothing hiding from me that some douchebags like dell or hewlett packard have put on there haha

I've even tried running it without having explorer running, no luck... dangggg

everything is sweet, why no go? not cool
