Sony laptop wont boot from CD

ghost1412 Bronze Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Posts: 30	Sony laptop wont boot from CD I am trying to boot Sony laptop from *external CD connected via USB* so I can format and partition the hard drive - I set the BIOS to boot from CD first and still booting from the HD - I test my CD of windows XP and it work on my other laptop and it boot from the CD , how can I force it to boot from the CD ?
