Talking Desktop at my office

I help with all the computers and technology at my dad's office. I would like to know if there is a free program out there that I can use to post a message or a note on the login screen so that whoever turns on the computer can see the note before loging in. I am a user on this computer and so are some other people. I would want to be the only one able to post a note. Is this possable and if so, what is the website where I can get a program.

Thanks

A post-it on the monitor itself would probably be easier. Having you be the only one to be able to use it may be more complicated that you think. You might have to have administrative rights, and if the administrator so chooses to, he/she would be able to. Most of these types of programs don't come with a password feature, but if they do they might not be free.

i've seen the stickies program, and apple has a post it type of program, where you can leave a post it in any folder (or on the desktop) and it stays there, but you have to log in first. i'm not sure if you can set it so you need a password to use it or not.
