You mean Adobe Acrobat Reader? The program is freely available here. If your friend hasn't got internet access, you can download the full offline setup file here, then burn it to disc by copying the file to the cd window and clicking "Write These Files to CD".

Let me know if you need me to break it down further.

You have to be careful with P2P, because 99% of what gets downloaded is done illegally. And talking about illegal activities is against the forum rules.

What files are you trying to copy? The single offline setup file I linked you to, or are you trying to copy the folder from your C: drive or something? What does the error box say when you try and install. I need more information about exactly what you're doing.

To let other people use a program, it needs to be installed on their computer by that programs installation file. If you got the program on a cd, it will be on that. If you get it free of the web, it will be the file you download. Probably called something like "adobe_install.exe" You can't however simply give a copy of your files to friends and expect it to work. Their computer needs to be set up by the install program first. I would just say to find the install cd or find it on the web. There is no way that I am aware of to copy the program files and get it to work on another comp.

Wait, do you need the cd to run the program? why don'y you lend them the install cd and then once it is ony their comp, take it back.

Please don't double post, there's an edit button to add information.

I included a link to the setup file in my first reply, so rudra can make a CD if nessecary with that file on it.

Adobe is huge. Why don't you just direct them to Adobe's site and have them get the trial versions? Better yet, just get the trial versions, burn those and give it to them because those will surely work no matter what.
