hi everyone, my compaq armada e500 started to display an "LSA shell has encountered an error" and then it proceeds to start a shutdown timer and shuts down automatically, I type shutdown -a at the run caommand and this stops the countdown, but this causes my msn messenger to sign out and i can't sign in again, also my home network goes mad. The other computers doesn't have access to the armada any more.
I did reformat the drive and did a clean install of windows xp, but the problem still persist. I even did sum research and founf out that is waz theh "sasser worm" causing all this, so i went to windows site and downloaded the fix, but the problem still exist!!! can anyone help me please.........thankz in advance!! |

1. Did you do the Blaster Worm fix?
2. So you've now patched for the Sasser ... did you remove it from the system too?
